This interactive workshop introduces HR leaders to the core principles, tools, and mindsets required for effective strategic planning. Participants will learn the core components necessary to create a meaningful strategic plan for their organization.  Additionally, participants will learn about the most important step in the process, translating insights into actionable strategic initiatives. Through collaborative discussion, leaders will walk away with clarity on how to get started on creating a strategic plan for the organization.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand the Foundations of Strategic Planning
    Identify the essential components of a strategic plan and the steps necessary to develop one.
  2. Conduct an Environmental and Organizational Assessment
    Apply tools such as SWOT and Environmental Scanning to identify current-state conditions, uncover opportunities, and anticipate future strategies.
  3. Prioritize Strategic Initiatives and Build a Roadmap for Strategic Execution
    Translate insights into clearly defined, high-impact strategic initiatives that are aligned with business priorities and begin to outline a roadmap for implementation.
